In our last post we shared some fun favorites of Jessica's. Just as we want to get to know all of you who partner with us through our transition to and future ministry in France, we would like you to know us as well!
Curious about what Glen's answers are? Well here goes!
Are you a morning or night person? I am a morning person because of my job, but I would much rather be a night person.
Which do you prefer, sweet or salty foods? Salty all day. In fact, I now want to burn through a sleeve of saltines.
Favorite childhood TV show? Oh man...Too many good choices. I will land on Scooby Doo, though.
If you could have a superpower, what would it be? Jessica stole mine (the ability to not have to sleep), so I will go with my backup. I wish that I could super speed read (flip through a book in 10 seconds) with perfect memory and comprehension.
Favorite city to visit? Salzburg, Austria. I would love to be sipping on a coffee outside a cafe looking up at the castle on the hill as the soothing sounds of the river strum into my ears and songs from the Sound of Music reign in my head.
Also, I really want to go back to Tokyo.
Hobbies? Apparently college. Also disc golf, reading, playing with my kids.
Best childhood vacation? When my Uncle Kurt got married in Milford, MA we went on a great road trip and visited New York City, Cape Cod, and Boston. Such amazing memories. Eerily, though, this was about a month before 9/11.
Favorite sport? Probably basketball. I enjoy watching and reading about many sports, but I still find myself longing to go shoot a ball around more than the other options.
Favorite restaurant? Hofbrauhaus Newport. Although, I would probably love the one in Munich more if I would ever eat there.
Favorite beverage? Coke Zero. It's a problem.
We hope that you have gained some insights, however frivolous they may be, into the Shady's!
