Glen and I are full of thankfulness for all of you that have made this happen. We do not underestimate the impact of those who have partnered with us financially and through prayer. We are grateful for your faith in the Lord and your confidence in us and our vision for France and other French speaking countries. Through God our passion for missions that began many years ago is taking shape in a whole new light.

So… what’s next?

We leave Chicago for Paris on December 27 on an overnight flight that will land on the 28th. From there we will make our way to our language school and finally our apartment. The first few days we are going to try to unpack and settle in, which will probably involve a trip to the local IKEA. Elizabeth’s 7th birthday is the 31st and we have promised her a trip to the Eiffel Tower (per her request), so we will be making a trip to downtown Paris (yay!). I’ve never been to Paris before so all of this is brand-new and I foresee many special memories in the making.

The girls’ school and our language courses begin on January 3, so we have a little less than a week to get settled in our apartment and at least semi-adjusted to our new life in France. Please pray for us and our transition.
